- $1 Million Capital Campaign, Good News Community Church / Iglesia Buenas Nuevas, Chicago, IL
(1985 - 1993) Funds were raised for the acquisition and rehabilitation of storefronts primarily from individual donors and foundations.
- $500,000 Annual Grant Writing for Church and Community Projects, Chicago, IL
(1979 - 1993) The community projects included a soup kitchen, alternative elementary school, teen center,
and housing development corporations. Grants were secured from both public and private sector sources.

ran what became a nightly feeding program for the homeless poor. Empowered clients to become service
providers. Developed partnerships with suburban churches.

community-based housing development corporation. Dealt with issues related to gentrification.

support to a private elementary school for 60 children from low-income families.
